Description
A gorgeous late 18th Century cut glass condiment tub and hallmarked silver spoon. This superb example has a period 'lemon squeezer' base, supporting a cut boat shaped body. The body has slice and hobnail cutting and a bevelled undulating rim. The tub is supplied with a hallmarked silver spoon from the same period. This fine piece is of usable size and would make a useful and attractive addition to a well laid table. Ideas for use are sauces or condiments such as salt, pepper, mustard, mint, cranberry, mayonnaise etc.
