A very handsome bed indeed. Black and brass is a timeless style which has been popular since early Victorian era to today. This bed has been adapted into a no end, making it a fabulous choice for all rooms, but could be particularly suitable for rooms with a view or indeed smaller rooms, as no need to navigate round a foot end. Very nicely proportioned knobs, the original brass disks, rod ends and knobs/finials have been cleaned and highlighted. Brass top rail antiqued to tone and match. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black, waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen. All joints checked for secure fit.
