A fine etching of St Paul's Cathedral, London from the late 1880s, full of movement and drama and the business of the River Thames. French artist Lucien Gautier (1850-1925) visited England in 1887, so presumably drew this scene at that time. Gautier was known for his etchings of Paris and other towns, including some Engish views. This one is beautifully done. Printed by A Clement. Presented in the original solid oak frame.
