This is a rather elaborate tourist / export ware spoon.
The centre piece is a silver gilt 1790 dated silver 30 tari coin featuring the effigy of Emmanuel de Rohan - whilst the coin is period the spoon mount will be more recent.
The main stem of the spoon is marked "800".
An unusual and well made item.
