Description
This is a nice quality 19th Century antique pewter tea caddy which has a distinctive six-sided form, with good embossed floral decoration over the body and lid.
The pot has aged well, and overall condition is good - with only minor surface wear/marking. Unusually it still has its inner lid.
It is very heavy for its size and may even be cast bronze or brass.
Appears to have bee gilded at one stage as some gilding is still evident.
