Description
A good quality antique (circa 1800) military campaign writing slope/box, with beautiful brass bound edges and handles. This box opens to reveal a nice interior complete with secret drawers hidden behind a sprung panel. It also has fittings to allow the slope to be used for reading. Main lock has been replaced and does not have a key. It has a lovely colour and patina.
