A superb hand painted Miniature Portrait of a fine Georgian Gentleman painted in a three quarter pose dating to the end of the eighteenth century.
A gentleman that seems to exude confidence and a serious nature, looking straight out toward the viewer and beyond.
Presented behind glass in we think an untested gold frame with a hair panel to the back.
The miniature was not removed from the frame for photography hence the reflections and white marks that appear on the glass surface.
The size of the miniature is 62mm high x 47mm wide, the frame size is shown below.

In excellent antique condition, with no damage to the miniature, no loss of colour or fading, the back glass has a stable crack top left.
