Description
A most unusual small pocket or purse address book, dating from the end of the First World War. This delightful piece has a leather cover with marbled paper interior. To the front the word 'Addresses' is tooled in gold and the corners are mounted with hallmarked silver protectors. Inside there is an alphabetical listing and some of the pages contain some original address listings. As these are written in pencil, they could be erased if so wished. A wonderful and rare piece from a bygone age, but still with a practical use. Makers :- Percival & William Southworth.
