Mother Goose Book by Arthur Rackham

A very good clean copy of this charming book Mother Goose illustrated by Arthur Rackham with 13 fabulous colour illustrations by Rackham and a total of 85 black and white. Cover is bound in an interesting & unusual design emulating a 19thc needlework sampler, this is continued on the end papers in black and white. Boards are a little faded and there is a damp stain or spill on the back board 2" X 1", Neat gift inscription in faded pen on half title page all pages and plates are clean and tight with none of the usual foxing, page 45 has a small 1/2" tear at the edge well away from the text, all in all a super copy.
