Description
This is a very rare 17th Century antique oak coffer. The profusely carved nine panel construction is very pleasing on the eye. The piece works very well proportionally with its deeply molded rails and recessed panels. The coffer is a lovely rich warm colour. Hinges replaced in keeping with the period.
