Oak Sleeper Settle

A wonderful and unusual Inn Keepers sleep settle from the Mid 18th Century. It is not very often you might see this model, we had one similar in the 1970s but not as good condition. Also very fortunate to have a wonderful patina and no splits in the arched panel back. The legs and pad feet show very little wear which is also unusual. A fine and rare piece of furniture. The rope seat has been re-installed and the seat would benefit from a new cushion. One or two worm marks in the rear beam section all fully treated.
