A prime example of a Georgian period double lid tea caddy. The main exterior wood is partridge wood which is cross banding in boxwood around the edging. It’s formed in an octagonal shape with 8 sides. The interior comprises of two lid sections for traditionally black and green tea. It’s a nice original example dating to the Georgian period 1820.
