Antique French Solid Oak Bed Frame Offering for sale an early 20th century double bed frame with a carved headboard, footboard and side rails. Traditional French bed boasting a large carved pediment on the headboard flanked by fluted columns, featuring decorative finials. The bed is in lovely antique condition, there are signs of restoration on the inside of the footboard, a veneer strip has been replaced, also on close inspection you will find normal light marks, surface scratches and old indentations, it has been carefully cleaned, waxed and polished to preserve the beautiful patina. Some old wood worm in places but thoroughly treated out of caution. The top pediment can be removed if you prefer. A superb quality bed and a real statement piece!
