For sale is a highly collectible, turn-of-the-century Oversized Magnum Black Duck working decoy, dating from the golden era of waterfowling (circa 1890–1910). This impressive, large-body bird is an exceptional piece of early American folk art with fantastic historical character. Construction & Size: True oversized "magnum" proportions, hollow-carved with a prominent, tightly sealed horizontal body seam line. Built robustly to ride high and remain visible in rough open water. Premium Details: Features beautifully preserved, original inset glass eyes and exceptionally fine, early hand-carved "scratch-brush" feather texturing covering the head and bill. Hardware: The underside preserves its authentic, early hunting history, retaining its original painted-over surface, old countersunk weight attachment cavities, and a vintage metal line rigging eye with a fishing swivel clip.
