Pair of Fine Victorian Hand-painted Porcelain Gallery Trays – Windsor & Balmoral Castles c.1890–1910

An exceptional and decorative pair of late Victorian / Edwardian porcelain gallery trays, measuring an impressive 36cm by 46cm. Each tray features a finely executed, hand-painted topographical landscape depicting iconic royal residences: one showing Windsor Castle across the Thames, and the other depicting Balmoral Castle set against the Scottish Highlands with figures fishing in the foreground. Both porcelain plaques are framed by an electroplated nickel silver (EPNS) gallery rail with ball-finial posts and stand on decorative ball feet to protect tabletop surfaces.
