P. Serra Terracotta Figure

Offered for sale is a most unusual terracotta, hand painted figure by P. Serra, of a woman in traditional Sardinian dress. Very elegant and serene, she wears a long gown and a lace veil, in her arms she carries what looks like kindling. Her face and hands have been left unglazed so you can see the rich terracotta clay. It is signed to the inside P. Serra, Olbia, Italy.
