Description
This is a pair of antique decorative vases. A Japanese, bronze baluster from the Meiji period, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1870.
Strikingly sculpted and finished vases of appealing proportion, displaying a desirable aged patina. Dark bronze tones throughout, catching the light across the baluster form. Adorned with bold grape and leaf mounts over a dappled ground. Finished with a period mark to the circular footed base.
This is a fascinating pair of antique decorative vases, with bold Meiji period taste. A treat for the collector or as decorative accents. Delivered polished and ready to display.
