An English, framed print of a Red Breasted Merganser and Goosander by John and Elisabeth Gould (1785 - 1851), dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850. Celebrated 19th century ornithology prints in tasteful later frames. Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Observed and illustrated by husband and wife John (1804 - 1881) & Elizabeth Gould (1804 - 1840). Printed in period by Charles Joseph Hullmandel of Great Marlborough Street, London.
