Pair of foliage botanical engravings from L’illustration Horticole. A monthly horticultural review introducing the most notable plants and flowers; both prize-winning specimens and newly discovered plants from the far reaches of the globe, brought forth to Europe for taxonomy and cultivation, especially showy-leaved plants and Orchids. Illustrations were by A.Goossens, chromolithograph by P.de Pannemaeker making it a colourfast expensive form of printing.
