Description
This is an unusual stylish pair of George IV antique pole-screens. The uprights are surmounted with a simple finial, the lacquered paper mâché screens in the form of flower petals, painted with flowers and ribbons, all resting on a classic elegant fluted ebonized stem with further ring turning, with bone on the bottom of the stem and the top of feet for contrast, sitting on a concave triangular platform base, with moulded edge resting on three bun feet.
