A rare and matched pair of Italian 16th Century Deruta plates from the Umbrian area. These matching plates with they Polychrome Deruta Lusterware finish are a delight. Depicting Italian headware warn of the period and decorated with wide borders of yellow-gold and dark blue colours.
Please note damage to one plate rim together with fritting to edges.
