A lovely pair of silkwork embroidered and gilt brass table top screens, dating to approximately 1880 each standing on a stylish gilt brass and ceramic ball base .The screens feature intricate needlework designs, typical of the Victorian era, the frames constructed fbrass, showcasing a gilt finish. These decorative pieces originate from Britain and reflect the craftsmanship of the mid Victorian period. Presented in good antique condition with some minor age related loose threads,one with no silk backing the other with a minor tear. A charming pair which looks and displays very well.
