Pair of Victorian Scottish Tartan-covered Bezique Score Markers

A charming Victorian Scottish tartan-covered Bezique score marker dating from the late 19th century. Beautifully finished in the iconic Royal Stewart tartan with gilt numbering, this compact gaming accessory was designed for keeping score during the popular Victorian card game of Bezique. The marker features rows of numbered scoring holes from 10 to 900, originally used with removable pegs (now absent) to record players' scores.
