Description
This pair of mould blown onion shaped spirits decanters have ring side handles and have been made from brown/amber coloured glass. The rims have silver collars with pewter stoppers made as fruiting vine. The stoppers screw into corks to seal the decanters. There is a base kick to the underside of the decanters.

Wessex House Antiques has clarified that the Pair of William IV 'Onion' Decanters c.1830 (LA119989) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1830
condition
The decanters are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The corks are very dry, one old one having fallen into the decanter, the pewter top on the other comes away from the cork, leaving it in the neck. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of these lovely pieces.
