A delightful watercolour of "A Path Through The Pasture" by John Barrett 1822-1893. Depicting cows lying under large oak trees and in the field, with a lady in a bonnet carrying a basket. John Barrett was a 19th century Devon landscape artist who worked in both oils and watercolours. He is recorded as having lived at Stodden Terrace in Plymouth and he exhibited at the Royal Academy
