A very atmospheric etching of the Palace of Westminster and Westminster Bridge from the river Thames ca 1910. Robertson came from an artistic family, his father also being an etcher. Percy Robertson specialised in etching and also watercolour landscapes. He lived in Godalming and then in London after 1901. He became a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and exhibited with them and the Royal Academy many times. This etching of London's Westminster probably dates from his move to London in the early 1900s.
