Pocket Watch: Antique 1920s Limit No 2 Pocket Watch, Llandudno

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit No 2 name. Hirst Brothers were founded in Oldham, UK in 1912. They imported Swiss watches and branded them with the brand name Limit, a name first registered in 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chrome plated… the front and sides are in good condition, the back of the watch has general surface marking. The glass lens is in good condition. The signed dial is in lovely condition, it also has the name of the original retailer, C W Forfar & Son, Llandudno. Blued steel hands.
