Gentleman's original large and chunky chunky golden gilt and vibrant multi coloured enamel lucky American One Dollar pocket watch chain coin Vintage fob set within an attractive golden gilt mount. C ~ Dated 1979. (Please excuse all the reflection in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.2cm height (including the top ring), 2.8cm width and weighs a very respectable 11.8 grams. Vibrant American eleven sided coin fob which depicts to the front in yellow gold enamel Susan B. Anthony to centre (one of the leading Woman's rights activists who played a pivotal role in the Suffrage movement) with 11 bright yellow gold stars around set upon a rich emerald green enamel background. Stamped to the top in arched script (again in yellow gold); LIBERTY and stamped in yellow gold script to right hand side; IN GOD WE TRUST. Clearly dated to base (again in yellow gold enamel);1979. Beautifully adorned to the back with jet black and yellow gold enamel upon which is sat the large American left facing eagle in Cardinal red and yellow gold enamel perched upon a green enamel acanthus leave branch and god sun in the sky above. Clearly stamped in yellow gold arched script to top; UNITED STATES OF AMERICA EPLURIBUS UNUM (Latin - 'Out Of Many') ONE DOLLAR. Held within a wide coin edge golden gilt mount and encapsulated between two clear celluloid lenses. Robust gold plated top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Superb clean, bright and crisp condition with amazingly no wear or damage and just a few overall light and fine little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
