Pocket Watch Chain Fob 12ct Gold Filled & Amethyst Glass Huge 1890s Fob

Original Victorian Gentleman's very large (huge), highly impressive 12ct gold filled (professionally tested, known in the UK as rolled gold) and vivid amethyst glass pocket watch chain Antique fancy fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.6cm height (including the top ring), 2.2cm width, 2cm depth and weighs a heavy 17.7 grams. Extremely ornate yellow gold filled Victorian fancy fob which is beautifully adorned with an elaborate heavy, slightly raised scroll work decoration all around. Held securely to the crisp, fluted base is a large, highly polished, oblong shaped, bevel edge vivid amethyst glass 'stone' (measures 1.8cm x 1.6cm) which is free from any inscriptions or initials. Fabulous wide scroll work bail with little raised finial and big robust engine turned brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with absolutely wear, just a micro bit of extremely light overall patina (showing under eyeglass only) and few fine little surface scratches / 'flea nibbles' to the glass commensurate with age.
