Pocket Watch Chain Fob Cigar Piercer Sterling Silver Victorian 1890s

Victorian Gentleman's sterling silver (fully stamped) pocket watch chain antique cigar piercer fob. Measures; 5.5cm height (including the top ring), 8mm diameter (taken across the barrel) and weighs a very respectable 8.6 grams. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Beautifully and crisply engine turned all around with a highly polished, oblong shaped, un-engraved cartouche to one side and a highly polished oblong cartouche to the other side which is clearly stamped; Sterling and carries the makers initials; W.V&S. The pump action still operates (slightly stiff) and the internal piercer does have some age patina as to be expected. Original robust big silver top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just one small indentation near the top and few light overall little surface scratches - all commensurate with age.
