Pocket Watch Chain Fob Georgian Style 1820s Antique Brass Fusee Verge Winding Plate

Original Georgian Gentleman's very impressive and highly ornate large brass antique pocket watch chain fusee verge winding plate fob with 'floating' top ring. C~1820s (could certainly be older). (Please excuse the reflections in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Measures; 3.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.8cm width and weighs 2.3 grams. Beautifully adorned with intricate and very attractive hand pierced open scroll work around (the later Victorian pocket watch movement plates were mainly machine made) with a heavily engraved (in black) circular indicator plate and raised squared steel arbour to centre. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Robust secure large brass sliding top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a tiny bit of extremely light overall patina commensurate with age (would imagine this has been suspended on a watch chain for well over 200 years).
