Pocket Watch Chain Fob Lorgnettes Victorian French Silver & 10ct Rose Gold Filled

Original early Victorian solid silver (hallmarked) and 10ct rose gold filled French Antique folding lorgnettes for a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 9.1cm length (including the top ring), 2.4cm width and weigh a heavy 25.9 grams. Fabulous faux tortoiseshell casing with an un-engraved cartouche to the front. Open up correctly (spring action is excellent), closing tightly and the two glass lenses are in excellent order with no scratches or 'flea nibbles'. Stamped to the front and back with the French silver Boars head hallmark. Original wide fancy oval shaped top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of overall wear/patina/surface scratches commensurate with age.
