Pocket Watch Chain Fob Victorian 10ct Rose Gold Filled & Red Glass 1850s

Original early Victorian Gentleman's large and highly impressive 10ct rose gold filled (professionally tested, has a lovely soft pink 'blush' and is known in the UK as rolled gold) pocket watch chain Antique fancy fob with a red glass cameo seal of the poet William Wordsworth to base. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph. Measures; 3.7cm height (including the top ring), 2.2cm width and weighs a very respectable 8.9 grams. Extremely ornate rose gold filled Victorian fancy fob which is adorned with scroll work and wonderful ball finials to either side which are holding a peony flower bud to centre. Held securely to base is an oval shaped, bevel edge Cardinal red glass 'stone' (measures 1.8cm x 1.5cm) clearly depicting in relief the bust of the English poet William Wordsworth (1770 - 1850). Very wide bail with big robust and extremely ornate brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of very light overall wear/patina/surface scratches commensurate with age.
