Pocket Watch Chain Swivel 1890s Victorian Large Brass Elephant & Bloodstone

Highly impressive and very unusual Victorian Gentleman's brass (honey blonde) large elephant and bloodstone swivel fob for a pocket watch chain/Albert. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.1cm height (including the top ring), 2cm width and weighs a heavy 10.2 grams. Wonderful and extremely ornate wide half moon mount which is adorned to each side with engine turned flowers and leaves. Standing magnificently to the top is a very highly detailed, three dimensional elephant (Indian) who has kind eyes, big ears and a long trunk. Securely held to centre is a big feature bevel edge, dark green swivel bloodstone (measures 1.8cm diameter x 4mm depth and is not glass) which is splattered all around with fabulous natural red inclusions. Robust original oval shaped top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just an extremely tiny bit of very light overall wear / patina / fine surface scratches commensurate with age.
