Pocket Watch Chain Vesta Case Fob Victorian Large Brass 1890s Devil Engraved

Original Victorian Gentleman's large golden brass pocket watch chain antique vesta case fob with secret opening and unusual engraving of the Devil to lid. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 6.1cm height (including the top ring), 3.6cm width, 1cm depth and weighs a very respectable 26.6 grams. Chunky oblong shaped vesta case fob which is hand engraved with an image of the Devil to lid. Also has some wording across which I am unable to decipher as it is somewhat worn with the passage of time. Secret opening - press the side which corresponds with the Devils head and the lid then opens up. Ribbed striker to base and robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just some overall wear / small indentations / patina and little surface scratches commensurate with age.
