Description
A pretty and large decanter from the end of the Victorian period. The body is emerald green glass and retains the original clear stopper. Hand blown, the decanter has a globe and shaft body tapering to a slim fluted neck and flared collar. It is hand decorated with enamelled lily of the valley flowers and gilded leaves. There is a polished pontil mark to the base and snapped pontil to stopper. Design no.12 on body and stopper. A charming piece both decorative and practical.
