Rare antique Australian military multi-tool, early 20th century.
Features horn scales, a carbon steel blade and marlin spike, fitted with a copper bail. The blade is stamped BURCH & SONS, SHEFFIELD, together with the Australian D↑D (Department of Defence) broad-arrow mark, indicating Australian military/Defence ownership or acceptance.
