Description
On offer is this very hard to find and highly sought after Art Deco powder compact manufactured by the British company Dubarry and marketed under the trade name "Baby-Jack".
The compact is made of chrome metal and the base is plain black enamel. The lid has a wonderful reverse printed picture of a fairy silhouette in fuchsia pink and black with enamelled sun rays in shades of fuchsia pink, bright pink and baby pink over a foil background.
To the inside is a polished metal mirror under the lid which is clear and reflective. The powder well retains the original black metal edged sifter and puff.

Good condition with some signs of age and usage. There is a spot on the lid as pictured and some normal wear to the base as well as some spots of tarnish to the interior chrome.
