Rare Art Nouveau Glass Epergne c.1900

Mgnificent and elegant Art Nouveau glass epergne. It has five clear glass flower heads with threading around the petals and brass caps which fit into a superb organic leaf style metal frame. This leads down to a domed glass foot also with threading around the rim. Absolutely stunning piece. We have sold many epergnes over the years, both Victorian and Art Nouveau and we have never come across another example in this form. Historical Context:- Hand-blown around the time the sport of Volleyball was invented by W G Morgan in Massachusetts in 1895.
