Description
A most unusual example of an early George V silver mounted match striker. Unlike the more commonly found spherical examples, this is of squat oval form. It has a deep silver rim and a central reservoir for matches (not included). The sides are ribbed for striking. A wonderful collector's piece.

condition
Excellent, with no splits or losses to the silver and no damage to the glass. There are a couple of tiny pinprick dimples to the rim, commensurate with age and use.
