Description
Here we have a wonderful rare treen folk art oak test piece for hand stamps dated 1903. The oak has wonderful colour and patina. This was used in Sheffield as a test for hand stamps for personalizing tools usually carpentry or cabinet making tools. Of course these were often thrown away when full. This one is completely full both sides so very rare. There are approx 130 different names stamped on the wood.
