This is a rare and highly collectible 'Lady Chippendale' pattern cake stand made by Davidson's glass factory* in 1895. Produced in blue pearline, this generous cake stand is a stunning example. Impressed with the Registration no. 17656. *George Davidson founded the Team Flints Glassworks in 1867, which became later known as George Davidson & Co. In the 1880's the company began producing pressed glass tableware such as milk glass, malachite and slag glass and their famous and patented Pearline range.
