Regency Mahogany Armchair

This is an interesting stylish early 19th Century Regency antique mahogany armchair. The curved, shaped and carved top rail, with a wonderfully carved back beneath, including a basket of flowers and rococo carving, held in place by two shaped, ribbed bars. Stylish ribbed arms supported on curved and shaped uprights. Large drop-in seat pad, with the ribbing continuing on all of the facings of the chair, with gilded brass rail beading in the front seat rail, back legs are out swept, front legs front legs are saber shaped.
