Description
Small round brass plaque stamped “ The Association of Riparian Owners of The River Mole Ltd ”, with the number 133 stamped below the hole for fixing. Possibly a peg number for match fishing, or to signify the ownership of a part of the river bank and its fishing rights?... either way it looks designed to be attached to a stake with the hole in the middle and a lug on the back. Probably early 20th Century.
