Lovely quality Victorian (c.1840) rosewood secretaire Wellington chest. The moulded top above six graduated drawers one of which is a fitted secretaire drawer having double dummy fall front opening to interior fitted with an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes and velvet lined writing surface, all drawers with the original knob handles, locking bar ( with working lock and key ), carved corbels to the front, raised on a plinth base.
With normal marks / scuffs / wear commensurate with age and use, this quality Wellington chest is in good sound condition.
