Royal Doulton series ware plate of Historic England from around 1939. This plate depicts a lady standing in the grounds of Haddon Hall which is in Derbyshire. This stately home is famous for having a grand Tudor hall and Elizabethan gardens. Plate is marked with number D5940 and Reg in Australia. The Historic England series was introduced in 1938 and withdrawn around 1952.
