Royal Worcester Seascape Reticulated Vase

An exquisite petite vase from 1912 by Raymond Rushton. The top of the piece is gilded and reticulated, leading down to a slim neck and a body where can be found a finely painted seascape of a sailing boat on the high seas. The artist has captured the movement and colour of the waves beautifully and set against a pink reddening sky. To the reverse is a similar seascape vignette. The bottom of the piece has a large gilded border, wonderfully complementing the top. To the base can be found the Royal Worcester mark.
