Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!

Description
Very well proportioned satinwood inlaid dressing table with hand painted garlands and three original oval bevelled adjustable mirrors.
Wonderful colour to the satinwood and with the ebony inlaid throughout contrasting so well with the rich satinwood.
Five good size drawers offering you lots of storage, but also a sensible kneehole height area for when you sit at the table.
The hand painted garlands running along the upstand beneath the mirrors are very elegant and decorative too.

Tom Scott Antiques has clarified that the Satinwood Inlaid Dressing Table with Adjustable Mirrors (LA404812) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1900
condition
The condition is good throughout, solid frame, all drawers running well and the bevelled mirror glass are all in good condition too. There are some age related marks around the surface edging and also a small area of scarring to the surface (shown in the last pic), all cleaned and beeswax polished so it has a lovely mellow shine.
