Description
This handsome antique desk stand which dates from the beginning of the 20th century has a silver plated top which is in the form of a horseshoe fitted to an English oak base and is made by Daniel & Arter.
This Edwardian stand has a nice quality glass removable inkwell which has a hinged silver plated cover in the form of a jockey cap and is marked with the maker's details and with the registered design number which dates to 1910.
A very nice antique piece that looks great on display and is a good useable desk accessory. Would make a wonderful gift for an equestrian enthusiast.

condition
Very good antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light wear, marks and light surface scratches. The glass inkwell is in excellent condition with just a few minute nibbles and scratches to the bottom. Please see pictures.
