Edwardian Gentleman's solid silver (professionally tested but as not hallmarked selling as white metal) pocket watch chain Antique dainty fob made to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.
Dated~1902.
Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios.
(Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph).
Measures; 3.2cm height (including the top ring), 2cm width and weighs 3.4 grams.
Very ornate star shaped bevel edge fob which is beautifully adorned to the front with the highly detailed images of King Edward V11 with Queen Alexandra and is clearly stamped around the circumference in slightly raised script; KING EDWARD V11 QUEEN ALEXANDRA.
The back carries the Royal Cypher to centre and is clearly stamped around the circumference (again in slightly raised script); TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION .1902 .
Regal Royal crown to top (same to both sides) and robust secure oval shaped silver nickel top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain.
Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of light overall wear / patina / tiny surface scratches - all commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new velvet presentation pouch and be securely and safely packed.
